Senior Pastor Benny Ramos

Pastor Benny G. Ramos is currently the senior pastor of Zion Revival Center in Zion, Illinois. He is the father of four children, of which three are  involved with him in the ministry. His wife, Hope, works by his side to counsel and prepare the saints for the work of the ministry, even as she serves as director of the Healing Rooms of Zion.

He came to Zion Revival Center in October, 1989. Prior to this, Pastor Ramos was a member of Lakeshore Tabernacle in Kenosha, Wisconsin, which was well known as a missions church, founded upon the vision of Dr. Orville Broker, who saw many little fires burning all over Mexico. There he served as an Elder, on the Board of Directors, as an official of the Missions Board & Chairman of the Missions Promotions Committee, and served as liaison for the Mexico Missions as well as interpreter for the Senior Pastor Nelson Clair for ten years. Pastor Ramos has been continuously involved in missions for over 25 years.

In 1982, Pastor Ramos received a three year Associates degree from Ebenezer Bible Institute and graduated as Valedictorian of his class. After receiving his degree, Pastor Ramos taught at Ebenezer Bible Institute for two years.

Encouraged to step in to the apostolic ministry by Apostle Leon C. Cosey (Love Temple International Christian Center) and other colleagues in ministry, Pastor Benny has begun to revitalize the Mexico missions at Zion Revival Center. After pastors from Zion and Waukegan traveled to Mexico with Pastor Benny in 2003, Pastor James E. Logan (Christian Faith Fellowship Church, Zion, IL) announced to Pastor Benny that he is a true son of Dr. Broker who will not allow the fires in Mexico to fade.

Music Pastor Benny Ramos III

Benny Ramos has served as a full time pastor ministering in the areas of music and youth since 1998 at the Zion Revival Center in Zion, Illinois. His father showed him his first guitar chord at age 12 and he has been a devoted musician ever since. He rededicated his life to the Lord in 1996 and has since played on numerous gospel, R&B and Praise & Worship recordings in the greater Chicago land area. He believes we should play our instruments passionately and with a burning desire, not only as a musician, but as a minstrel unto the Lord.
